The two point floating trems are pretty good, the 6 screw vintage style ones are not so good IMHO. That said my favorite trems are Floyds and Kahlers, which a lot of people seem to have an intense dislike of. I have 4 springs in my Floyd and 4 in the strat like Wilkinson on my Eggle.

I use 3, set to float.
Properly set up and lubricated, they work fantastically.

Edit: the 6-point bridge works fine if you slacken off the inner four screws about half a turn.

My Floyd is very stiff (leave it) and I can't do flutters with it. Also the trem arm keeps coming loose from the socket. Any help with that?

Knife edge worn out. Either needs sharpened or replaced. . Problem more common on licenced trems.

To check this you must remove the bridge. You can easily remove the bridge with the strings still clamped in the bridge by removing the tremolo springs. [Be sure to hold on to the bridge when removing the springs.] If you don't feel comfortable doing this, take the guitar to a good guitar repairman. Check the knife-edges. They should not be dull or rounded or chipped. If they don't seem sharp you can order a replacement base plate at www.apintl.com.

The dull knife edge is a rare problem on Floyd Rose Original bridges, but is more common on
licensed bridges. If your bridge says, "Licensed under Floyd Rose Patents" or similar anywhere on it, this is a
licensed bridge, and "not under our quality control." If your bridge is a licensed bridge, you should contact the manufacturer of your guitar for replacement parts.

Get a tech to look at it. Clarky, who abuses Floyds more than most, told me that his original one, which was retrofitted to a strat ages ago, outlasted all of the Ibanez ones he had. The metal on them looks a lot more tempered. If you have to replace it, put a real Floyd in it.

I have three in all of mine (Squier, Vinatge and PRS) The Squier was the only one I ever had problems with and that was down to the nut. My PRS is rock solid even after 18 years.

Have both the Vintage and the Two Point trems. Set up well the Vintage is just great.

I use three springs, the outer two angled for the extra ounce of pull.

Cheers
