I've been writting songs for a long time and have plenty of songs but i am new to recording with a computer!

i have a powerful computer, Sonar 7 producer edition, an audio interface, some monitor speakers, and instruments is there anything else i need?

e.g a preamp or anything?

are you gonna record vocals?
if yes, you may need a mic preamp depending on your audio interface.
a keyboard or midi controller would also be helpful.

if you are recording 'songs', like with a guitar and adding drums and other productions touches, then yes, thats yer lot apart from the aforementioned mic pre-amp
