While the BBFC was under the leadership of James Ferman in the 80s and 90s.

Even "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" was censored to remove footage of one of the turtles using a pair of linked sausages in a nunchaku style.

So what? That has nothing to do with being allowed to see them in films, nor is it a valid excuse for the censoring of art.
