Default Water + Soundcard = ?

I awoke from a very hazy, uncomfortable, slumber at a house party this weekend to find my e-mu 0404 USB standing in a shallow puddle of water, it has some clearance by the way of little rubber feet, but I'm worried it may have gotten a bit wet. It was off-ish.....

The power switch was half way between on and off!

I haven't dared turn it on yet. Anything I should consider before doing so?

Sigh......hope it's not f***ed!

As long as it wasn't powered up at the time it will be fine... asuming it's bone dry now.

Believe it or not. You have to wash(scrub) circuit boards with de-ionised water after soldering parts to them to get rid of the corosive water soluble flux.

I'd stick it in an airing cupboard for a day or two.
