Absolutley brilliant. Got two of em (one on each of my pedal boards), and unless you want thrash metal I don't think there is a sound they won't do. Two channels, the first can set for clean or crunch, and it goes from gentle crunch to full classic rock. The second channel goes from classic rock to er more classic rock. Only one set of tone controls bt that's never bothered me. Also both channels can be bypassed to get the natural sound of your amp.
The pedals also have a filtered recording out and it's pretty good, I used that on my recordings here www.myspace.com/keithmarriott So all good except: they use a 15volt ac supply so you can't power them off a standard pedal power adapter. |

the recording out, do you know if that can be used whilst plugged to the amp or is it one or the other...??
And can it be plugged straight into a computer for recording or is it too much power out?? Damn looks like im gonna have to get one I did wonder why I couldnt find any secondhand ones... |

Not tried both outputs at once, but the level would be fine into a soundcard with an instrument in and if you turn the output of the pedal to full I reckon it would probably drive the line level input of a standard pc just fine. Just to clarify, the lead channel does have a lot of gain available - just not quite thrash metal. If your orange is quite crunchy at volume you would probably use both channels of the pedal backe off a bit.
The EQ and the ISF control really change the sound of the pedal and is goes from marshall to boogie type noises with ease. Absolut bargain really! Whan I did my recordings I tried to use my POD Xt and there are just so many options I was getting nowhere: I plugged the Dual in and got a great sound in a few minutes. |

jammy's Zinky True Grit in the classifieds section?
A stonking overdrive pedal, also with a boost. It'd be ace with your TT, and won't cost you anything like an HT Dual. Click Me! ![]()

I tried mine with a super champ XD at sound control before they shut - it sounded amazing but I wasn't sue if it was loud enough to gig with: I'm still wondering about a pair of XD's (because they are so light) to use as a gigging rig. But the XD has a pretty good gain section all on it's own.
