Default comfortably numb

Hi,
what effects pedals would I be looking at to get a similar 'epic' pink floyd comfortably numb solo tone???

fuzz (big muff type), compressor (dyna comp) and delay.

Hopefully Nocaster will chip in soon who's been playing this song recently and should have some good advice.

Also check out the site www.gilmourish.com for a lot of useful info.

Overdrive, compression and a bit of phaser, plus correct playing technique... very controlled, relaxed and ncie bends!

Delay comes in on certain sections of the second solo and some clever tremolo arm action with the delay timing as well

I hadn't realised there was any phaser on it.

Personally, I always wondered how to get the slightly higher pitched feedback type sound particularly audible in the second solo. (If that makes sense...)

I've got a patch on my G Major with a phaser/flanger combination which seems to get a very similar sound to the second solo. Can provide the parameters later if you're interested.

I'd be interested in seeing your settings... (as long as these can be extrapolated to other types of effects systems).

I'll stick them up later and let you decide

OK, first thing to state, I use a pretty heavily distorted sound, 7 on the gain on the Ultra Lead channel of the Trilogy, bass to 4, mid to 8, treble on max. The guitar is mahogany bodied, bolt on maple neck with rosewood board, 22 fret, 25.5" scale. Bulldog Black Label humbuckers.

The effect settings are as follows:

FLANGER - speed 0.2Hz, Depth 40%, Hi Cut at 2.51kHz, Feedback 40%, Feedback cut 2.51kHz, Delay of 5ms, golden ratio on and mix is at 50%. The golden ratio is to do with the relationship between Speed and Depth, it's a TC unit, can't say more than that since I don't know.

PHASER - Speed 0.2hz, Depth 50%, Feedback 50%, Range on High, means it ignores lower frequencies and effects higher frequencies, and mix is at 35%.

I'll post a sound example when I can
