a nice track, to me it reminds me of the old skool trackers (amiga etc) definately not a bad thing at all!! though to my ears I would suggest that you could add a delay and maybe some more reverb to the vocals so that it melts into the track but i really can't fault this cool tune! great stuff ! nice sounds!

Thanks for taking the time to listen buddy, and for the comments!

This is still a very early version as of yet, at the moment most of it is in reason but once I have most of the melodic elements in there I will export it all to cubase and probably play with some other sounds and add some incidentals and FX, and as for the vocal, I think I am gonna have to import the raw samples into cubase and do some time/pitch trickery in there before I worry much about processing them further, they sound bloody awful when NN-XT is used to pitch em!

EDIT: Just for kicks I just went in and stuck on some delay and a bit more reverb and what can I say, you are a genius blue lol sounding better! I will refrain from uploading it til its closer to completion though

Very nice work. The production is very clean and fresh. There's also enough variety of music and sounds to keep your interest througout. Presents some nice surprises, like the chime section. Excellent stuff.

Hi Rob Cheers for the very positive feedback mate, I think this is pretty much the first electronic tune I have ever done that I am 99% happy with so I was a bit nervous to see what people had to say!

And yes, gotta love the glock!

Nice track, mate, the mixing is pretty balanced and good variations. Although I won't stop the experiment here, coz I think the track can still be enhanced with more sounds, effects, or background pad/strings...try experimenting more with them, it might improve your track even more...

Cheers!

Thank for the listen and comments buddy.

I think I will most likely still be playing with adding effects and such for a few weeks yet! I hadn't thought of more pads though (I'm pretty new to this electronic music game) I'll certainly give that a try!

Question Helllllp!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK so as I said before I aint really very familiar with this dance type stuff, but I've made a few changes, added a couple of extra pads in a few places and put some filter sweeps n stuff in, tweaked the mix a little, and am having trouble deciding if it sounds better or worse for it, so any input would be most appreciated.

I have left the link to the old one at the top of the page for comparisons sake, heres the link to the improved (I hope) version
