get it ...awesome piece of kit...it needs a computer to use it though and comes with the gearbox operating software...the presets arnt really very good but you can dial your own in easy enough...check out my page ..most of the leads are line 6 ux2..fx and everything..listen to a few tunes and the different sounds ..i use 3 for all my stuff...sounds like im trying to bump my music ..but have a listen ...its just ux2 and thats it..

I have one of these and they aint half bad as a means of getting a decent signal into your pc, I do think the amp sounds are its weak point though. They do sound good, but not when compared to the competition. I actually find myself using freeamp alot with mine as I think it sounds better?!?!?

I have tested the demos of guitar rig and amplitube too and these both blow it away for the quality of sounds.

With that said though I wouldn't be without mine It was an excellent buy back when I got mine and it was more expensive then!

I just use it as a simple interface - don't use Gearbox at all.

I keep saying this to everyone with a Line 6 DI - get it, then go to Line 6's site and download the Gear Box Gold Bundle which will work with that - amazing value, killer array of sounds
