Unhappy R.I.P. Jerry Reed

Just read on the BBC site that Jerry Reed died on Monday aged 71 following complications arising from empysema ...

Gonna go listen to "Guitar Man" by Elvis and "The Claw" by the man himself .

I love Jerry Reed's guitar style and he always came across as a very humble guy.

Check out Buster B Jones's instructional DVD where he breaks down Jerry's unique style.

His abums with Chet Atkins "Me and Chet" and "Me and Jerry" are a good example of his playing. Jerry's Breakdown is a great tune too.
