Default Have you tried a Line 6 M13

I was looking at this:

http://line6.com/m13/

Has anyone tried one? Are the models any good?

Cheers

I was interested in this too, but that was before I had a bad experience with a couple of tonecore pedals. I don't think I would touch line 6 pedals again tbh. Mind you, the M13 is supposed to have proper bypass, so maybe it will avoid all the noise issues I had...

...also, I'm not sure if you can split the effects so the drive fx can be routed seperately from the mod fx. There is a loop, so it might be possible. Would seem like an obvious requirement (at least to me!), but it is often left out of multi fx (as in with the ME-50).

It's very expensive for what it is, imo. A selection of mediocre digital effects.

You also say that like you've tried them?

Have you?

Most of the modelling seems to come from their 4 series pedals, ( MM4, DL4 etc) so it should sound pretty good. It's as ugly as fook though

It's the same shit they've been doing for years, so yes, I have tried them.

Look... I thought those effects were pretty good, until I start exploring proper analog shit, and now I'm hooked on that. My personal opinion, no need to hate.

But you've never tried the M13?

It's exactly the same technology and models as what you get in the PodXT and the stompbox modellers.

Quote:
Does M13 Stompbox Modeler include models from the DL4?
Yes, it includes all of the delay models from DL4 plus a killer delay called Echo Platter from Echo Pro™. It also includes all the models from DM4™, FM4™, MM4™ and Verbzilla®. The full list of models can be found here.
Have a look at the list of models. It's all the same stuff from the Pods and the 4-button stompers.... both of which I dislike. So I'm making an informed decision on the M13 without having tried the M13 itself... because in reality, I have tried the M13 in various prior guises.

It's a con. Everything Line 6 have done for the past year or so has been rehashed versions of old technology. If you really don't agree with that, then that's fine, but don't talk to me like I'm an idiot.

Calm down. No-one's talking to you like an idiot, or "hating". No need to get so defensive. We're just clarifying whether - as the original poster asked - you've actually tried one or not.
