Default Anybody interested in a game of Mafia/Werewolf?

One of the other forums that I'm a member of regularly runs "themed" games of mafia/werewolf. If anybody's unfamiliar with the genre here's the wikipedia description...

Quote:
Mafia (also known as Werewolf or Assassin) is a party game modeling a battle between an informed minority and an uninformed majority. Players are secretly assigned roles: either "mafia", who know each other; or "townspeople", who know only the number of mafia amongst them. During the night phase of the game, the Mafia choose an innocent to kill. During the day phase, all players debate the identities of the Mafia and vote to kill someone whom the majority suspect. Players are eliminated until only innocents or mafia remain; the surviving side wins. Mafia is rarely played in groups of fewer than five, and must always start with more innocents than mafia.
These are the basic rules, every game I've seen played has involved at least a few secretly-assigned "special" roles. The adaptations for playing it online are very small. I've seen games run as Mafia, with mobsters and citizens; Werewolf, with werewolves and townspeople; Shadow Over Innsmouth, with Deep Ones and townspeople. Basically, almost free reign is available. I was considering running a game here on the MusicRadar forums for a bit of fun (Mods permitting). I'd need to know we had enough people (probably at least 10) interested first though.

We'd have to decide whether one in-game day lasts one real-world day (which would make the game run faster) or whether it should be 1 in-game day to 2 real world days (which would mean that you wouldn't have to log in every day to cast your vote for the lynching or conspire with your fellow werewolves/mobsters to decide who to kill in the night).

So, any takers? I think there's a flash animation somewhere online that explains the rules very well so if I've said anything unclear let me know and I'll find that.

Thinking about it, because it'll have to go in day/night/day/night cycles, each in-game day MUST last 2 real life days. One day is the "day phase" the next day is the "night phase".

It's more fun with a room full of people over the space of 10 minutes after plenty of beer.

No dice involved except maybe during the role assignment at the beginning. For the players it's mostly a game of deduction (working out who the mafia/werewolves are if you're town) and manipulation (to keep yourself out of suspicion if you're a werewolf/mafia).
