I've not got room to take so many guitars back and forth to university with me so one of them (at least) has to go. Would anybody here be interested in a Variax 300? I should have all of the stuff that came with it when I bought it plus the special cable for connecting it to a Pod. I'm keeping it at my Dad's at the moment so I'll double check that it's all present and correct either tomorrow or on Saturday. I'll also take a full set of pictures then and post them here.
I'm not sure how much delivery would cost but if you're local to the Rugby area then a pickup could be arranged. If it has to be posted I'll need to find out from the people here what the best way to do it is. I see used ones are going on ebay for around £200 so I'll put out £150 as a ball-park price. Edit: I also have a solid state 3-channel Crate combo that I'm looking to sell so I'll probably put up pictures of that then too. |

As promised, I return with more information and pictures...

Are you including the Workbench software and whatever cable is needed for it? (sorry if I'm being dim but that wasn't entirely clear
)

![]() If you have a Vetta II, a Pod XT Live or a Pod X3 Live then you can download the software for free. Otherwise you have to buy it (I think it's £50-£60) because you'd need the Variax -> USB converter hardware that comes with it. Edit: That does remind me though that I'll need to give it a factory reset before I post it out, I think I might have loaded a set of open tunings into the "custom" bank.

I might end up in the doghouse ... but it's warm and dry out there.
Really. It has a light too. The dogs are well looked after. |

Does this put you out?
I'll try taking it into the post office on Monday to find out how much it would cost to have it posted. That way I can factor a definite figure into the price I'm listing here. Edit: I COULD try, but it'd be closed. Stupid bank holidays.
