Default Guitars and trains and stuff.

Here's something you don't get everyday: An attempt to convey the emotions experienced due to waiting around for a delayed train - through the medium of instrumental music and a couple of samples!

I quite like it but last time I posted a new song I got some good advice from this forum, amended a few things and got my first (and probably only) # 1 in a Soundclick chart.

The main concern with this one is that I ran the finished mix though a convolution reverb - which seemed like a good idea at the time but I'm not sure if that is the done thing.

Grum.

Like it...!Can imagine the clip where you're sitting and waiting for the train and people just walking pass you in fast forward motion... Just one thing though, I think the snare sound does not fell right...I can't really tell you what's wrong because apparently I'm having the same problem with some of my songs (which I'm still having the trouble of fixing)...so maybe it's just taste issue...but for the mixing and arrangment, they are just great...

Cheers!

Cheers for that. Snares can be a bitch! I use Reason Drum Kits (2) for my natural sounding stuff and I usually end up frustrated that I don't have the sound in there that I had in mind (or try to match to another track).
I don't think that the snare is awful so I won't mess with it at the moment, but I know where you are coming from.
(I will deal with the Myspace request later as access is denied where I'm sat at the moment!)

Grum.

Edit:
MySpace sorted, and some very professional sounding songs listened to. Good stuff.
Grum (again)
