Default What I watched last night ...

While re-stringing my LP and doing the fancy wrap around brige thing I watched: Lost land of the Jaguar, and crime watch solved. Bloody good tele well done BBC, still not worth license fee though (IMO).

My conclusions:

That guy in lost land land of the jaguar, the climbing guy who likes to swim with Piranahs (sp?): he'll be dead soon

And in crimewatch: some people really do need a right good kicking.

That sabre toothed fish looked evil!

And the size of that tarantula!

I'm hoping when they reach the top of that cliff, they'll either find Tarzan or King Kong!

That guy is crazy. He plunged into the river to disentangle a net, and a few minutes later they were pulling out piranhas.

I had read of a guy who fell asleep in a canoe with his hand dangling in the water. The piranhas ate his hand and lower arm.

Did you see the giant bird eating tarantulas with the inch long fangs? Bigger than a man's hand with fingers extended!!!!!!

I wouldn't be able to sleep in that place for the creepy crawlies.........centipede in bed....scary!!!!

I believe it's only a certain time of the year that piranhas are eaty, I saw a documentary abou the amazon and there were kids swimming in the water with piranhas and the narrator said something like what I just said.

The danger of piranha to humans is legend, not fact. There are no recorded deaths from piranha assault ever and the odd nip aside, they tend not to attack anything so large that is still alive. Fallen fruit makes up a large proportion of their diet - they are not the ravening carnivores of folktale and cinema.

I remember when I discovered that.

I was most annoyed to realise that my moat would not stop Mr Bond from breaking in.
