I've been having neck pain for a couple of weeks now - ever since I reckon I pulled something play fighting with my youngest.
However, when I woke up this morning I was in absolute agony with proper stabbing/spasm pain in my neck, shoulders and upper arms. 2 doses of Nurofen and some Ibuleve gel later and it's still there and not getting better Fortunately I've managed to get a docs appointment for tomorrow morning - unbelievable for a Saturday. Has anyone got any advice that might help?

Lie down and rest it and don't spend time hunched over a keyboard........
Lay off the gel, because if its nerve related, rubbing wont help.
