Question Turnkey stole my money!!

Has this Happened to anyone else?
I ordered a moogerfooger from them shortly before they called in the administrators.
They took my money but I never received the goods!
I haven't been able to reach them by phone or email and the administrators will have nothing to do with it.
I didn't use a credit card ( I don't have one)
Can anyone advise me of any options I might have?

A couple of people on here have had similar problems. Sorry to tell you this, but you've lost your money. You'll be way down a very long list of creditors. If you'd have bought it on a credit card, you would have had some cover and probably would have got your money back, but as it is.........

You're facked !

You might get a few pennies in the pound back when the Liquidators finish up - but that's about the best you can hope for.

Sorry.

It's terrible though isn't it? When the company (as a whole, though under the control of administrators) is still trading and they've basically stolen peoples money. I'm sorry for those who have lost their jobs but the first things that should be paid out (after redundancies) is consumers deposits.

If the item was in stock, but hadn't been shipped that means the distributor would have their goods returned but the administrator would be able to keep the consumers cash. Win-win for them.

Nope - None left. I had a Gibson warranty issue and they couldn't honour it.

This whole situation gives the rebranded Reverb stores a real problem. They aren't carrying any high end stuff that wasn't in stock before administration but who's going to trust them with a deposit if they want something that isn't in stock and has to be ordered in? I think the remaining stores are just there to make the admins some cash until they run out of stock. Then they'll be shut down too.

Sounds like bullshit to me. I pay for something, I want what I payed for, or my money back.

I hope they get ther act together this time. How many times did you go to Sound Control to buy something, only to be told: "We don't have it in stock, but we can order it for you."
Well thanks, but I can do that myself, cheaper, from Thomann in Germany, delivered within 5 days.
