So I sent the Fender Fuzz Wah back to Stringsdirect yesterday because it didn't sound like a proper Wah to me. It was too "transparent" sounding. Plus the Fuzz was a bit crappy, only really seemed useful if you cranked it right up and blasted out some Mudhoney or whatever. I'll give it its dues though, it was quite large and very solidly built. I imagine it'd be perfect for those people who buy a wah pedal and then proceed to gut it and put a custom circuit in.
So, finding myself deGASed and a bit dissapointed with that, I sunk the money I'll be getting back from it straight into one of these. http://www.andertons.co.uk/acatalog/...medium=Froogle Crowther Hotcake Bluesberry currently at £99 at Andertons. The last time I ordered something off them it took a long time to arrive but it says they have these in stock so hopefully it'll be alright. So, had anybody else got one of these? What's the opinion here? |

I has one for several years, got rid of it when (foolishly) in a trade. Sounds great when driving a already overdriven amp, not so good at beadroom levels. Really great sounding pedal and very tweakable.
At £99 its a bargin, tempted to get one myslef but Andertons website has it at £129 ? How did you get it for £99 ? |

My blackstar artisan has an EL34 channel that overdrives very nicely, I wanted something to thicken up leads on it. |
