Default Double Dirt or Two single Dirts

Just looking for suggestions here on one possible setup.

Clean Valve amp ( anything that takes pedals )

Clean sound from amp alone

Dirt one for general classic rock

Dirt two for Solos.

Individual dirt pedals or a T- Rex / TC Electronics one ?

Personal choice I know, but what do you prefer ?

I know I just bought a combined od/boost, but in general I'd say separate units.

My Cornell Romany has two sounds: Clean with EQ and crunch w/o EQ. Both sound great on their own and take to pedals (HT-Dual, Dist+, Bad Monkey) really well.

I really wish that the EQ could be switched in/out by footswitch

At only 10W it's probably not got enough headroom for you though (from reading your other posts).

I would need a lot more headroom.

What config are you using with the dirt pedals when you are using them ?

2 pedals rather than a dual I'd say. That way you can choose the actual sound you want from each one rather than have to make do with the 'other half' of a pedal. You can still instantly switch (if you need to) by putting them next to each other - I manage it and my feet are far from coordinated !

Yeah - That was my next question !

Keep one on for basic chugging and then kick the other one in for Solo's ( so both are on together ) ...or have one set for each style and between my last chord and first solo note do the dance from hell trying to switch one off and one on

Put 'em next to each other, as Mr O says.

Is there a case for running two at the same time or will it turn into mud ?

If you choose 'em right they should work together fine.
