The other guitarist in my band has one. They sound OK but I'd recommend changing the speakers because his really came alive when he put Vintage 30s in. If you have a decent cab knocking about I'd go for the 50w head for £50 less. Not the loudest 40 watter in the world but that's not an issue for some folk.
