Default Subscription Gift Delivery Time

Hi

I have just subscribed to Total Guitar after buying it for about since 1996ish. Anyway it has not been that long yet (coming up to being 28 days) but I was wondering how long the subscription gifts take to be delivered? (The gift was a Behringer ultimate metal pedal )

Hi Mithaearon,

It's probably best to call the subscription customer service line on 0844 848 2852. They'll be able to let you know if there's a delay on the availability of the gift.

Hope this helps.

future publishing cannot guarantee that every subscription wins a free gift, if you haven't had it within 28 days then it's not likely to turn up.

this was the honest answer given at the above number, didn't challenge it as a) i have a drive pedal, b) the bloke on the other end iof the phone must hear this quite a lot.

i think the subscription adverts need to stop advertising anythig they can't guarantee, it's worded as if subscription = pedal.

i'm still happy with my sub as it is for the mag not the pedal, but i can't abide by misleading adverts.

Totally agree. Neither of my Guitarist or GT "gifts" arrived - it just leaves a rather bad taste.

Can't see it does Future brand much good either as our contract is with Future the publishers, not the tame suppliers. If it's in reality "the first 100" - then make it clearer.

My subscription gift for PC Zone never arrived. Neither did the one for a magazine from another publisher.

I generally assume that magazines are lying about stuff they'll send you - that's certainly been my experience.

Hi

I thought I would update you on this issue.

Just to say the pedal arrived today! I didn't call them as I wanted to wait (thought it may be me being impatient).

I was away the weekend just gone and when I got back on Monday there was a note saying a parcel had tried to be delivered. So I went to pick it up and waiting whislt the guy tried to locate it. About 30 minutes later and a massive queue build up behind me I was told that it was missing but they would try to find it. Received a phone call yesterday saying they had foudn it and it would be redelivered today (which it has been). I looked on the front and it seems to have gone on a magical mystery tour of houses on my road with numbers rubbed off and rewritten. Got to love our postal service :P

Still got it now. Thanks for the help and advice all.
