Default Foo Fighters at Wembley

I'm going to the Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium this evening and taking my 11 year old daughter to her first live gig, she's very excited to say the least.

I've heard it's going to be a very long set (not sure if anyone has heard this too) and also that the stage is going to be in the centre rather than up one end as they normally are. Should be interesting to see how that works.

Don't know if you've been to the new Wembley yet, but having a centre stage makes perfect sense, I hope for everyone's sake that they are going to do it that way, will make everyone's experience more enjoyable.

I'm a casual Foo's fan, but would have loved to be there tonight - it will be fucking immense.

I think they had a centre stage at their last Wembley gig, or was it O2? Anyway, they've done it before!

They had a centre stage at the O2 last year which they used for some numbers in the middle of the set The rest of the gig was on the main stage but Dr G did a lot of running up and down the connecting bits

Slightly crap pic of the centre stage:

Anyway, have fun - should be a blast. Wow - the Foos as a first gig for your daughter? Ace

I've seen them on this tour. The centre stage is there, but is not the place for the entire gig. In fact it's covered up for most of it, then they have an acoustic set on the centre stage. The gig is about two hours long, yeah.

If you're taking a kid that young, take some earplugs, because they're pretty loud. And also, Dave does swear a little bit, hahaha.

Ahh, that's right! Obviously, I wasn't there but a friend told me.

I've seen tickets on eBay for both ends of the stadium, which suggests there won't be a stage at one end.

I was at the O2 gig, so saw the accoustic set on the centre stage. Understand the whole stage will be in the centre this time.
