Default Tentative Spam ( Sell / Trade) : Lite Ash Strat

I bought a Lite Ash Strat late last year on a whim. I received it on a Wednesday took it to my tech ( Nigel O'dell ) and had it duly set up with 9 gauge strings for my playing style. Something I always have done. I collected it on the Saturday and put it in my studio. I used it for around 2 hours of practice, then boxed it up with its hang tags in it's original Fender carton and it's never seen light of day since,

It has a spectacular Birdseye maple neck, a really nice Ash body and the usual 3 x Seymour Duncan pickups.

I have a few <cough> Strats and although I have always liked the idea of an Ash body Strat with Birdseye Maple neck, I just never used it over my other USA and CS Strats.
It's time I moved it on or traded it for something else that I might use.

With that in mind.........Is there anyone else in the same boat who fancy's a swap around ?

Guitars and Musical instruments that is

This is the reason why I was looking for a trade.

Taking a quick look around the net the natural ones go for around £359. ( Black ones are cheaper )

http://www.imuso.co.uk/ProductDetail...ckCode=EG00994

http://www.dv247.com/invt/34772/

So realistically ( even in pristine condition ) I am going to make around "enter the highest price you are prepared to pay" at best. ( If you are taking around £315 then that would be ideal )

But if someone else had a mint 'as new' Fartocaster/Kevin Paul that cost them £359 . Then a straight swap would see us both £££££'s in pocket. ( or even a cash adjustment either way )

Does that make sense ? ( if not I will get the wife to re-write my post LOL ! )

Is a Godin LG Hmb of any interest to you as a swap?

Edited Post

Took a look at one about 10 mins ago. Fantastic quality guitar, but it's not something I would make use off. I'm still scratching my head at the quality of Godin's, I could have gone over it with a magnifying glass and not found an atom out of place.

I am staggered at the resale price ? They all appear to be around £530 new, yet there are two in my local paper for £230-£260 that have been for sale for weeks ?.

I find that strange because the Freeway holds it price pretty good.

I'm up for anything musical really that I will use.

I have an XTSa (not for swapsies!) which is an incredible instrument. Really happy with it.

Just on the off-chance, this is available for swapsies ...

I have two Aria's from the Matsumoku factory and enough Gibson/Tokai 335's to last me a lifetime

Have you not heard ... "two's company, but three's far more fun"

Just thought I'd ask! I do like my Aria, but it doesn't get played enough, and I'm in guitar-recycling mode at the moment ...
