Default Advice on iPOD docking station/speaker thingy

I want one of those gadget's you drop your iPOD classic into.

The features I would like are as follows :

Remote Control
Good Quality sound output
Charges iPOD
Video out
Audio in ( for my laptop to play through )
Mains and Battery

Any suggestions ? Budget up to £200 ( if it can be done )

What Hi-Fi gave the logitech one a very good review so my Mum bought one. It's pretty good for £100. It has everything you ask for apart from Video out I think.

The sound isn't hi-fi standard of course but for £100 what is expected?

They also do a bigger version for £200 but I have never heard it.

Will these wirless speakers do the same ?

they are only wireless when you want them apart though arent they? and the technology insie must be pretty good if they boast that you can take them next door.... but I can see your concerns. meant to be a cracking set up for your iPod though...

and DO NOT mention iPod and compression when Rocker is around

I use my iPod straight into my hi-fi via a cheapo cable from maplins with the hi fi plugs at one end and a min jack at the other. The thing that annoys me is that I have to turn the volume up loads as the input is small.

One day when bored I will stick a little pre-amp together.
