Default Porn fiends....

...be careful out there.....

Whilst "extreme" material may not be your taste, lets face it, it's everywhere. One wrong click and your whole life could be turned upside down.

"Pornographic material which depicts necrophilia, bestiality or violence that is life threatening or likely to result in serious injury to the anus, breasts or genitals has no place in a modern society and should not be tolerated," says a spokeswoman for the ministry.
'Lord Hunt, who has charge of the bill in the Lords, admits it is being rushed through to meet a deadline. But he denies the law has not been thoroughly considered and maintains it will only affect images that are "grossly offensive and disgusting".'

I think in this day an age, its very easy to get carried away and paranoid. Miscarrages of justice do happen, but as long as you show some common sense I think you should be OK.

I dont think there is anything to worry about. the general porn surfer should be OK. Its just people who willfully seek out this stuff and download shit loads on their PC or deliberately sign up to sites like 'rape' or 'beastiality' or snuff or something FFS...

That's the intention, but it only takes on rabid God-botherer in a position of power to abuse the pathetically worded bill...

I'm going to sound like mags/manic here, but this has the potential to be thought/sex crime of Orwellian proportions.

Well just be careful from now on then lol.

Or better still, just buy shit from a sex shop. Atleast you know what you are getting then. I cant believe that shops arent more widely encouraged to be honest (they are a lot more policeable).

There is a site I know (free) that shows clips from all over the place. One of those clips was from a French mainstream movie 'Irreversible' - there is a nasty nasty rape scene in it. Some people who commented on the clip thought it was a real rape attack and reported it to the Police. A copper actually posted the US version of a crime reference number.

The thing that worries me about this type of legislation is that it attempts to impose a standard of morality upon everyone.

Porn is only immoral if the people in it are actually being harmed, or if viewing causes harm to the person watching. If neither of those harms exist then there is no immorality.

Morality is only about suffering and the prevention of it. Distaste is entirely different. Just because an MP doesn't fancy watching a bit of prostate massage does not mean other adults should be prevented from watching.
