Hey.

Im glad people are contributing to this thread. I reckon the guys at CM do read some of these threads and take our views into account.

They are running an online survey for CM readers, which I think is a big step in keeping up to date with what their readers want.

I still use the CM plugins [mostly 101 and 303] more than any other free plugin I got with the magazine and would love to see some of these updated.

I find the tutorials and magazine are almost always geared towards Reason but there are others other there like Fruity Loops and Cubase.

I wouldnt mind seeing more Fruity Loops stuff.

And Lets get the quality of the DVD's up, its embarassing that I can burn DVD's at home that are better quality than the flawed junk they have been shipping lately.

I'm still looking at the August edition. Its a mess. I don't know what most of it is! Do I install it or what? How much old code do I want clogging up my machine. There needs to be more and better readme files.

Whats the deal with including the same software on every DVD? Why not just put them on the web site?

Why not put a PDF of the magazine on there. Do i want a collection of DVD AND a collection of old mags as well? Yes I'm sure someone would pirate it, but its a monthly. Its not profitable to do it on a big scale. Besides, doesn't the profit come from advertising rather than sales? Anyone who Pirates the mag, pirates the advertising too.

I think the samples should stay, people are going to argue this one, as sometimes an individual user might find some useful, other people might not- how do you appease the masses?
people are saying about battery kits but these can be created from drumhits on every dvd anyway.
