You all know what this is, right? So I don't have to give you all the full sales pitch...
I like this amp a lot. If you go through my archived posts (and posts under my old name, Scarabunga), you'll find that I've made quite a few posts saying how good I think this amp is. I've done quite a few gigs with it (not tons though, as it's been my backup amp for gigging), and it's always sounded good, cut through well, and been loud enough. It also sounds decent at lower volumes too. I'm getting rid of it because I've decided to go over to an EL34 amp with less gain in it. This is a 6L6 amp with a veritable avalanche of gain on tap, should you so desire it. Plugging into the low gain input, you can get a much more controlled crunch if you're not into ubershred. There are a few small marks and little rips in the tolex from gigging, but this amp is in generally very good condition. It was last serviced on 12/10/07. Everything works as it should. Main features you might not know about: Class A to Class A/B Texture Pot Tight/ Loose Resonance Switch Footswitchable volume boost and gain boost on the lead channel For more marketing gumf, check out http://peavey.com/products/ValveKing/index.cfm I'm looking for about £210.00, or PM me an offer. ![]() |
