Default Function Band people. Question regarding your pricing

What are you charging for Xmas and New Year gigs ?

Band starts at 9 until close ( usually 12 or 1pm ) with a small 30 minute break in between. We have just been offered £2200 for our cut down three piece ( midi backed ) ..................sell your soul and play The Drifters all night long ......band

That seems a good deal, but just wanted to see what others are getting before we accept the booking.

For a three piece that's good dough. We would get about the same, possibly a touch more but we would be splitting between 7 people so you would make more money.
It's a shame you can't get one of those a week ehh

The drummer books all our gigs and he normally goes for about £70 each, plus a bit more for petrol etc. and thats a 7 piece doing 2 1hr long sets, although more/less if required. I think he's going to start asking for a bit more though. So yeah, we're quite cheap.

12 am close on a xmas eve let alone a new year eve is good going.

mrs bert as a duo would get £600 / £1200 respectively for two 45's or three 30's - plus a bit and thats 'budget' prices. Clubs paying better than pubs

We always do a minimum of 2 hours plus a break. We did one last night that started at 8am and we finished at Midnight with one 15 min break.

I think we should cut it down to 2 x 45 or 3 x 30. I played on Friday with the normal ( dunno whats normal about it ) Rock band and last night with the " Wear a funny coloured shirt " band.

Then on the way home this morning, my wife says the clocks go forward . I really need some sleep tonight.
