Default new acoustic

hi guys, im in market to buy a new acoustic guitar (im left handed and yes i play left handed). my budget is about 3 to 400 pound. im not sure on what the shape of guitar i like is called its possibly called an OM? i think its like a double cutaway lookin thing but bottom of guitar has different shape to top. vague i no. anyway dus anyone have ne ideas for me? i like the acoustic sound of damien rice and joshua radin particularly

Go and have a look on the Martin website they describe their shapes. A Double cutaway acoustic is very unlikely, that would look like an ES335.

they are hugely superb, and even better VFM, great guys to deal with. (not that Im biased )

They can be found 'off the shelf' at least at Ivor M's, Acoustic Music Co Brighton and Intermusic Dursley (Glos)

You'll be needing a Lowden with lots of holes in it then Shame thats a bit over budget.

I THINK he plays an O25 which will be a cedar top with rosewood back and sides. Try to stick to the size you're thinking of and those woods and you should get close.
