Dear All
I have an old Evolution keyobard that I used to use as a midi controller. However, the lead plugged into the game port/joystick port on my now long defunct old PC. If I purchase one of the many gameport to usb adaptors currently available, will I be able to use the keyboard again? It seems that it should, but I would like to know prior to spending £15 on an adaptor. Thanks tunaboy777 |

It might be less complicated and more effective to get a MIDI plug to USB adapter and ditch the gameport connector.

I am sorry Tunaboy777,
I am not quite sure what you are going to plug the Evolution into? Dave. |

I couldn't comment on whether it would work.
Probably go with what theUDE said. You may just have to get a suitable power supply for the keyboard then. |
