I'm sure I bought something from them recently-ish. I think it was my Behringer DI. I tihnk it took 'em a couple of weeks but it arrived ok.

I have sent off three emails requesting if an item is in stock and not had a reply, so I usually take that as a negative sign when dealing with a new dealer.

I have been given the go-ahead to get this Ibanez RG350DX ( re: my other thread about Ibanez Shreddies ). This place ( Rockingrooster ) was selling them for £256, a few others are asking between £265 and £275 and at the higher end others are asking £299. The young lad has a budget of £350 ( that needs to include a small practice amp ) , so £256 would have been a good deal for him. He would have been left with enough for a decent used amp.

Price matching don't seem to be working ? I have always had the main dealers ( DV24 , Dolphin IMUSO etc ) price match, but none of them are interested.

Very strange ?

Shame he don't want the black one with the Maple Board. Andertons are doing that for £249.00 That would have looked good in white !

So if anyone knows where there is a used RG350DX or a new one nearer the £260 mark, can you let me know.

For £10 - £20 I would suggest getting it from a shop where he can take it back if it fucks up and have a play of it first.

As I said in the other thread, that is not an option. He is 14, dont own a car neither does his parents. The nearest place that even stocks these is 45 miles away. It is mail order or nothing.

They would not go lower then £285 that makes them one of the most expensive . SC dont seem to be price matching anywhere near as much these days.
