Default bowed neck

i belive my friend guitar neck is bowed it bends inward making the strings further apart from the neck. can this be fixed?plz can any1 help? thanks

you need to either take it to a guitar tech to adjust the truss rod, or if you know how to, do it yourself..if you're adjusting it yourself make sure you take off the strings first to avoid snapping the neck..
probably a case of new strings with heavier gauge than previous or poor original set up..

Sounds like the truss rod is too slack.

Most guitar necks will be slightly bowed. It allows the strings to vibrate. If it's too far bowed you will probably need the truss rod adjusting. You'll be able to find online guides to doing it but you might want to take it to a specialist if you don't know what you're doing.

I've heard that before that was when he was Tone-Ranger at Jellystone park though, after Venus Isle failed to reach expected sales..
