This is a quick mix that went to a compilation- but I'd really like some feedback from new people before finishing the mix for the proper record.

For those who want to know-

Tracked/mixed on Digi 003 (pt 7.4) using a series of different pres, drums combination of organic and sampled- some of these from Boss DR-880. Guitars a combination of mic'ed amps and pod emulations. Final mix completed with waves Trueverb, Q10 and L2 maximizer plug ins, gearbox plugins and Focusrite's liquidmix (primarily drawing on SSl presets, LA-2A comp models and ssl channelstrip compression models- a few exceptions- but mostly those.

Bass tracked with Fender Precision and Guitars tracked with a combination of Gretsch and Musicman guitars...

liked the drumming style, well written piece
the player doesn't do it justice, looses the bottom end

Agreed about the player- myspace and their damnable mp3 standard... I am going to set up some links either to my site or get an account with one of the services I have noticed other folks using. Open to suggestions on that count for sure!

Thanks so much for the kind words. I really enjoy the possibilities of the peer review. Nice enough to be well received on the first one- will make it easier to brace for the inevitable slam review... Which is also more than welcome.

Actually- just joined soundclick- so never mind there- higher quality mp3 (still only 128- but better.) Anyone here using the VIP membership? Has it been worth it?
