my new tune made in 8 hours!

i decided to challenge myself to make a full tune in as little time as possible,
in this case it was 8 hours start to finish!
yes its a bit rough and ready as time constraints made me do some pretty drastic descisions.
but i can assure it was made with nothing premade all loops were created at the time but hey here is the link http://www.soundclick.com/jac79

My daw is totally seperate from the interweb so I'm listening on these strange skype branded headphones at the moment which give everything a 12dB bass boost :0/

LIked the feel from 1.30 onwards, especially the panned percussion sounds, that rhythm saw pad is nice, simple bur effective progression - would have liked to hear a bit more variation, I know it's difficult with so little time but I'm a stickler for wanting lots of detail :0)

Drum track could be spiced up a bit too, I reckon you should put some more hours in, it's got potential, just needs a bit more instrumental interest and more of a theme too.

Great stuff for 8 hours work, Jay. I really liked that.

Well worth spending some time to add in any bits you wished you'd had time for, IMO.

Sounded pretty darn good to me.

many thanks i will probably go back and do th mix again before my stuff goes on i tunes in may but on the whole i like it
