Is there any reason why one may need a Pocket Pod as well as a Pod XT?
Apart from due to laziness - having a Pocket Pod downstairs because they may be too lazy to set-up and record upstairs ![]() Cheers

But surely laziness is the best excuse?
I do like the pocket pod. Zap

Damn! Thought it might be a good excuse, but a tiny bit feeble as far as justification is concerned!
It would make me more likely to, for instance, join in more forum jams as I could do it with no fuss, rather than taking the laptop upstairs, having to stand up to record (*lazy smiley*) etc, etc. I suppose it would make it easier to get the odd riff or chord progression down quickly, so that I could remember it. More justification required yet, I think.... ![]()

as it's so much easier to set up etc it'll encourage you to play more and thus get better. How's that?

Vim and Zap, supplying justification for the guitar nation
![]() I'm convinced, do I need a justification for the other half, or should I just say something like, 'how much money are you spending on restoring that car, it already has an engine, what do you need a newer one for?' or, 'what's the matter with the seats in it now?' etc His argument to me will be, 'you've already got one of those, what do you need another one for?' - how do I justify it's different to what I have ![]()

About £60?
The price of a night in the pub. Tell him it's not the same as the XT, it's smaller ![]() Also, it makes different noises. While it's not a song I play with the band, the preset for Smoke on the Water puts a big smile on my face. Zap

And if it's different noises, there's another excuse...hmmm....reason.Of course, it's so small, I could just hide it in my pocket ![]() ![]() Money-wise it's nought, but I don't NEED it! I'll see how cheap I can find them on the 'net and then persuade myself!!
