Default Edirol HQ Orchestral and Acid

Dear All

Playing the Edirol HQ Orchestral thru Acid Pro 6 works, but if I choose a specific midi channel (say 6) and specify a voice for that, my controller still triggers Midi channel 1 so I get both voices sounding (sometimes it triggers more than 2 channels). The same thing happen when using Wusikstation and Edi HQ OR with both the Wusikstation voice and Edi HQ OR voice sounding simultaneously.

I know I posted the same kind of query below and no-one replied, but I'm nothing if not persistent

Any advice for this midiot would be very gratefully rec'd.

Regards

Check that you haven't got the midi in set to Omni.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Default Still struggling...

Thanks for that, AndyChap.

I'm going to sound like a complete moron, but how do I do this? There is no mention of "Omni" in either the Oxygen 8 V2 documentation nor the Acid "Help" or the book Acid Pro 6 Power! I'm stumped.

This is driving me nuts, so any further help would be massively appreciated.

Oh and as an aside it happens whenever I've got more than one VSTi open.

Cheers

As you can see from the screen shot above it's not called Omni in Acid they just call it All. If All is selected then your midi controller transmits it's data on all 16 midi channels. You need to uncheck the All option by selecting an individual channel.

Hope that helps.
