Default FAO imported_ people

Hello,
Firstly, apologies to you for having to live with these usernames for the past few weeks. As you know, we migrated two existing forums - Intermusic and Midiaddict to this one - and if we had any duplicate usernames we automatically gave one of them imported_ at the beginning.

We would like to give you the chance now to choose a new username. Here’s what you need to do:

1) Decide on your new username (you can’t include funny characters or spaces at the moment)
2) Go to the MusicRadar register page to check its availability (http://www.musicradar.com/register)
3) If it’s available, message me with your new chosen name and your registered email address

We can then change your name without touching your post counts.

If you were registered with the same username on both the Intermusic and Midiaddict forums and you’re using an imported_ username now, message me with both registered email addresses and we’ll try and merge the two.

Cheers guys, any questions don’t hesitate…

Tom

Tom... can the "new username" be one that we've already started using on this forum? For example, could I import my old adrianclark post count etc into this one?

What about us with spaces in our name, who's profiles don't work?

There was talk of us having to change our usernames too. I'd actually prefer to just lose my space if that's OK.

Hi Adrian, yes that's fine. Just message me detailing exactly what username you want and your old registered details.

Honey Tone, we are working to fix spaces in usernames so you won't have to change anything and still be able to use your site profiles. I'll keep you posted on this but if you do want us to change your username in the mean time, please message me with your details.

Default what the hell?

I found http://www.musicradar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10678
and I posted there... Now I found this thread which should be the same (except for the first post the others are different). Which is the right one?

Thanks.
