Default All about your Plectrum

How do you determine when your pleccy is worn ?

Does the point have to wear square
Does the Tortex have to lose its condom properties
Are you a rockstar and have 20,000 plecs attached to your mic stand
Are you poor and have one special plec with your return address stamped on both sides

I am a rare beast, I have a geniune OCD about not losing Plecs !

I will rip the house apart if I lose one of my precious plecs and cannot find it, the Prozac does not seem to help me

I generally lose them long before they get at all worn.

You can wear them any time, but they're probably not appropriate for white-tie occasions.

(I just buy a load, lose them and then buy more)

I have a couple of these filled with my preferred picks - Tortex .88.
I have one in my trouser pocket at all times.
I also have a pick stuck behind the 'plate on all my guitars - except the one that has no 'plate.

I am one of life's real sad beestards. Along with my OCD for losing Plecs, I can get around 5 practice sessions and 5 gigs per plec.

I really need to get this sorted. Plecs really should not be an issue

I really thought I was getting on top of it and then my wife bought me some metal ones with little pictures of rabbits on

Those pick holders are brilliant!
When I use one I can lose all my plectrums in one go instead of one at a time.

I use Dunlop Ultex picks, either 0.73 or 1mm. After searching for a long time for the ultimate plectrum and not really getting on with tortex picks I'm very happy with the Ultex ones.

Do picks really wear out? I don't notice the difference between new and old.
