Jay-Z's anti-Auto-Tune stance predictably fails to affect software sales

Despite a lyrical bashing from Jay-Z on his track “Death of Auto-Tune”, sales of the software have increased. “The Jay-Z controversy is great, we couldn’t buy P.R. like this.” Says Antares’ vice president of marketing Marco Alpert in this NY Times article.

We can’t help feeling “DOA” is far from vintage Jay-Z, but what do you think? Which is better, Jay-Z’s anti Auto-Tune rant or this slice of Auto-Tuned silliness from T-Pain and funsters The Lonely Island?
