iZotope on iPhone

Mere weeks after the launch of the iPhone and iTouch application store, well known music software developer iZotope has stepped up and created a pair of drum machine applications for Apple’s touch screen devices.

iDrum Hip Hop Edition and iDrum Club Edition are surprisingly full-featured drum machines, and while they share the same interface, the included sounds depend on which of the $4.99 editions you purchase. The software even allows you to create your own ringtones, though you will need to download the free Mac and PC compatible syncing software.

So what next for the iPhone? Mobile GarageBand? Mobile Reason? Here’s hoping…
