Google deletes music blogs

Google has, apparently without warning, deleted several high profile music blogs from its Blogger and Blogspot services. According to this report blog owners were only informed after the deletions took place, and some claim that they received terms of use violation notices from their hosts regarding content that had been approved by the record labels involved.

So is this fair play by Google, or a worrying case of shoot first, ask questions later?
