Processor manufacturer and Intel nemesis AMD has announced that it’s going split into two companies. The schizophrenic statement means that part of the company will continue to be known as AMD and will carry on with design work, while the actual manufacturing will be handled by the split-off company, which has been temporarily named the Foundry Company.
An attempt by the National Music Publishers' Association in the US to increase the royalties paid from iTunes could result in the online store’s closure.
